Publishing results

Start lists, importing your timing CSV, splits and divisions, and going from provisional to final.

Updated 23 Oct 2026

Results live where entrants look for them: in a results widget on your event page or your own site, and in each finisher's inbox. The flow is start list, import, publish.

The start list

Entrants with bib numbers form a searchable participants list you can show before the race with a start-list widget, on your event page or embedded on your own site. Assign bibs first; see Bib numbers.

Bringing in results

In the event's Results tab you can add results by hand or import a CSV from your timing system. The upload step detects the common columns (bib, name, chip and gun time, status, category, gender, club, splits) and lets you map or ignore the rest, so most providers' exports work as they come. Each row is then matched to an entrant by bib, or by name where the bib is not on your roster, and anything the matcher is unsure about is set aside for you to decide.

Every individual or group result needs a gender, because it decides which division a finisher is placed in. A row without one is skipped unless its bib matches an entry that already has it; a result added by hand asks for it. Relay results are placed as teams and need none.

Splits, divisions and relays

  • Define split points per category (5K, 10K, the summit) and results show the time and position at each.
  • Women's and men's tabs and age-group divisions are worked out from the entrants' details.
  • Relay results show the team's finish and each leg's split, with legs numbered 101A, 101B and so on.

Provisional, then final

Publish provisional results on the day as finishers come in, so entrants find their time before they have left the field. When your timing team signs them off, mark the results final. Finals are what the finisher emails quote and what your results widget shows after the day.

Where they appear

Results show in the results widget, wherever you place it: add it to your event page with the page builder's Embedded widget block, or embed it on your own site. The event page doesn't show results on its own, so add the widget before race day. Entrants filter by category and search by name or bib, in your colours. Results from earlier years stay published.
